How to setting drone sprayer parameters
To achieve precise application and ensure the spraying effect, the accurate setting of spraying parameters is essential. Otherwise, during the actual spraying operation, the spraying effect is likely to be unsatisfactory. Spraying without effect, even if spraying thousands of acres a day, does not make any sense. Now Flydragon will let you know how to set the parameters of drone sprayer
Parameters that must be clear before the job
【Effective spray width】
The effective spray width refers to the spray width under the premise that the sprayed water mist is uniform, drift-free, and has sufficient penetrating power. It should be noted that the effective spray width of an drone sprayer is fixed, and has little effect on the flight altitude. This is because, if an aircraft's flying altitude is higher, and the spray pattern is larger, it means that the design spray pattern of this aircraft does not have a standard value, and the sprayed water mist must be uneven.
For example, the spray range of a drone sprayer is 5 meters at a flying height of 3 meters, a spray range of 8 meters at a flying height of 5 meters, and a spray range of 10 meters at a flying height of 10 meters. Such spray must be uneven. Qualified manufacturers must provide standards. Recommended value: standard spray pattern at standard flight altitude. For example: FlyDragon 16L drone sprayer, at a standard flight altitude of 3 meters, the standard spray width is 6 meters. At a standard altitude, the distance between several nozzles of the aircraft, the spray angle of the nozzles, the effect of the downward airflow of the aircraft, etc. are all determined, so that it is possible to ensure that the spray is uniform along the span of the aircraft, and then it is possible to ensure that The drift of the spray is within a reasonable acceptable range. This is the effective spray pattern.
[Spray amount per acre]
According to the needs of different crops, the amount of spraying per acre is different. This parameter must also be determined before spraying. For example, for spraying for prevention and control, the spraying amount of 3600~4800ml per acre can meet the requirements, but for herbicides, defoliants, etc., full coverage is required, and the spraying amount per acre needs at least 6L or even 7.2L. This parameter should be determined according to the actual situation. Our suggestion is to design a slightly larger spray volume to ensure that the spray effect comes first.
[Medicine dosage per acre]
This is an independent parameter, which depends on different crops, growth stages, degree of pests and diseases, and pesticide manufacturer's recommendations. Regardless of the amount per acre, it can be matched with the spray amount per acre, and the potion can be mixed. At this time, it should be noted that for some medicines, such as powders, if the spray amount per mu is too small and the dosage is relatively large, it may lead to insufficient dissolution of the medicine and further result in poor application effects. At this time, the spray rate per acre should be further increased.
【Effective drone tank volume】
The actual drone tank volume given by the drone sprayer manufacturer. It should be noted that the volume given by the manufacturer is the maximum volume, such as 15L, but in actual operation, filling up to 15L will result in insufficient flight capacity of the drone or insufficient battery, etc. This may be due to the decrease in air density caused by the local altitude. Cause the flight performance of the drone to decline. In any case, it is necessary to determine the actual loading of the drone sprayer under the current altitude, current ambient temperature, and current drone conditions. This drone tank volume is the effective volume.
