Israel's Cando Drone company has launched an advanced BOLS security solution for drones

In a recent collaboration, three of Israel's largest drone companies, High Lander Aviation, Sentrycs, and Cando Drones, hosted a three-day demonstration at Caesarea Business Park to showcase autonomous  BOLS security solution for drones designed to counter threats from the ground and in the air. The event, titled "Caesarea Live Showcase 2024", attracted a large number of high-profile audiences, including representatives from the municipality, police forces, security services, and a range of embassy delegations.

The focus of the demonstration is the Orion UAV fleet management platform developed by High Lander. This state-of-the-art system demonstrates rapid response capabilities against simulated threats. For ground events, the drone is autonomously launched from the charging station to the event site and maintains a preset altitude. Before returning to base, they provide real-time video and telemetry data to the command center. The system also demonstrated its ability to counter aerial intrusions by detecting and safely landing non-cooperative drones for further investigation.

The main features of the Orion system are highlighted, such as AI-powered object detection, tracking, real-time map display of operations, and manual drone control. This comprehensive demonstration highlights the system's ability to handle multiple flights simultaneously, demonstrating significant advances in drone technology and operational efficiency.

Alon Abelson, CEO of High Lander, expressed pride in the success of the event, saying, "I am very proud of this event. Our goal is both to showcase state-of-the-art security technologies and to provide a forum that connects the major players in Israel's drone ecosystem with municipalities, public safety organizations, and national security services. We achieved all this and more. He further attributed Israel's leading position in aviation innovation to the country's booming tech industry and the progressive policies of the Israel Innovation Agency and CAAI. Recognized for its global leadership in anti-drone technology, Sentrycs contributed anti-drone capabilities to the system.

Meir Avidan, Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Sentrycs, highlighted the importance of Safe Skies and the role the company plays in ensuring Safe Skies are safe from unauthorized drone attacks. Alon Kloss, COO and founder of Cando Drones, highlighted the importance of drones in smart city infrastructure, praising their ability to provide real-time, accurate information to support decision-making processes and enhance situational awareness.

The event not only showcased technical prowess, but also highlighted the potential of drones to enhance public safety, border control, and emergency services. Michael Charsanti, CEO of Caesarea Development, commented on the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of integrating autonomous drones into security systems, noting that this has had a positive impact on insurance premiums for companies within Caesarea Business Park.
