Talk about inner outer rotor brushless drone rotor
Drone motor is divided into two motors according to different rotation methods, there are two types of brushless drone motors:
One is a brushless motor with inner motor and the other is a brushless motor with outer motor
Definition of inner rotor brushless motor and outer rotor brushless motor:
Inner rotor
1: Inner rotor brushless motor: means that the motor's axis will turn, the coil is in the motor case, and the magnet is in the axis.
outer rotor
2: Brushless motor of outer rotor; means that the motor casing will rotate, the coil is on the axis, and the magnet is on the casing.
Advantages of inner rotor brushless motor and outer rotor brushless motor:
1: Advantages of the inner rotor brushless motor: Generally speaking, because of its small diameter, it is more conducive to the development of high-speed torque.
2: The advantages of the outer rotor brushless motor: it has better heat dissipation and larger diameter, which is more conducive to the use of low speed torque. Brushless motors generally use both diameter and length at the same time, such as: Class 2030: That is, the diameter of the motor is 20mm and the length is 30mm.
How to distinguish between a helicopter motor and an airplane motor:
1: According to forward pull and backward push: helicopters generally use a front pull motor (refer to the motor which is placed in front of the aircraft); aircraft generally use a rear push motor (refer to the motor which is placed behind the aircraft). 2: According to the magnet: Generally, there are 6 magnets in the motor for helicopters; 12 magnets in the motor are for aircrafts.
3: According to the KV value of the motor: Generally speaking, the KV value of the drone motor is relatively low; the KV value of the helicopter motor is relatively high.
