What is UAV MIMO data link technology technical


UAV multi-input and multi-output (MIMO) data link technology is a new UAV measurement and control data link system. It is equipped with multiple transmitting and receiving antennas on the ground control station and UAV at the same time to change a single information channel. It has become a number of independent and parallel information channels, and the capacity of each sub-channel can reach the number of waveforms in the UAV Single Input Single Output (SISO), which can be independently controlled.


The main advantages of applying MIMO technology to the UAV data link to build a MIMO-based UAV data link are:
(1) Increase the information transmission capacity.
(2) Reduce the probability of interception.
(3) Enhance anti-interference ability.
(4) Improve task adaptability.

In order to give full play to the application of MIMO technology in the UAV data chain, the main research directions include: (1) Further research on MIMO antenna layout. When the number of antennas is large, the spatial layout of the antennas is diverse, and the spatial correlation matrix is also diverse, and the corresponding MIMO capacity situation is also quite complicated.
(2) Research on signal processing in MIMO system. Combining the application advantages of MIMO technology in the UAV data chain, while taking into account the multiplexing gain and diversity gain, research on the selection of coding and decoding strategies and improving the UAV's MIMO anti-jamming performance.
(3) Research on anti-interference and monitoring technology of MIMO data link.

(4) MIMO data link experiment platform construction.
