The test flight was carried out on the Airy-class frigate Aigaion (F-460) in the Mediterranean area west of Crete. It focused on demonstrating the range, endurance, speed and sea surveillance/detection platform of the CAMCOPTER S-100 UAV. performance.
The test flight will also include all-day take-off and landing tests of the CAMCOPTER S-100 UAV, as well as the implementation of maritime traffic surveillance/coast monitoring in collaboration with other Greek naval vessels.
