AeroVironment will provide Puma 3 AE drone to NATO

AeroVironment has won 4 fixed-price contracts awarded by NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) with a total value of 11 million U.S. dollars. The Puma 3 AE tactical UAV system and initial spare parts package will be delivered. The contract is part of a three-year basic contract signed by NSPA in January 2020, with a total value of US$80 million. The Puma 3 AE UAV is specially designed for land and sea operations. It adopts a hand-thrown-off takeoff and has a battery life of 2.5 hours.

The GPS module is mounted on tail-wing, away from power system, that greatly reduces interference.
